Update: 2012The Substantial Gainful Activity (SGA) amount for individuals with disabilities, other than blindness is $1010 for 2012. The SGA amount for individuals who are blind at $1,690 to for 2012. The monthly earnings amount used to determine if a month counts for the Trial Work Period (TWP) is $720 for 2012. The Supplemental Security Income (SSI) Federal Benefit Rates (FBR) are $698 for an eligible individual and $1,048 for an eligible couple. The income amounts that will have no effect on eligibility or benefits for SSI beneficiaries who are students is $1700 and the yearly maximum is $6840. |
